African Black Soap

African black soap has been made in Ghana for generations using traditional methods, and mine is imported directly from there. It has a soft, rustic texture and a dark, earthy color — a multi-use bar for face, body, and hair.

Size: 5.5 oz · break off a small piece, lather with water, and rinse.

• African black soap is traditionally made in West Africa from the ashes of plant materials such as plantain skins, cocoa pods, palm leaves, and shea tree bark, and used for generations as an all-over cleanser for face, body, and hair that leaves skin feeling clean and fresh.

Handmade in small batches — size and color vary slightly from bar to bar.
